This week's Muse challenge is #48 and Marion has posted this lovely card as inspiration:
I love her window card with the decorated inside, which inspired me to make this window card:
I added acetate, embossed it, and sandwiched it behind the window. Here's the inside of my card:
The paper on the left hides the glue that's holding the acetate in place. The paper on the right shows through the window and is attached to piece of paper that lines the inside of the card. Here's another look:
Window cards are fun to make and I enjoyed using those spring colors.
Thanks for stopping by!

This is so cool- I love the way you've used the DP inside the window! Thanks for joining us at Muse this week!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful window card--perfect for the challenge at Muse! Never thought to emboss acetate--(actually scares me to use it!)--so I'm going to try it. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, Erika. Love the embossed acetate and how you sandwiched it between card front & back.
ReplyDeleteYour card is great! Never tried embossing acetate, the thought of the odor kinda keeps me away. One of my many phobias -ha! I saw your card on the Muse challenge.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, bright colors - love the patterned paper through the window!
ReplyDeleteLove your window card, Erika! Your flowers are so pretty, and I love how the pattern shows through...gorgeous card!
