This week's OWH Midweek throwdown is a color challenge - use complementary colors. I was working on making "Unfrog-getable" cards and changed up the colors for the challenge. My first card uses the red (primary) and green (complementary) colors. The stamp is from My Pink Stamper and I stamped it four times - something I've learned from the Stretch Your Stamps class:
My second card is another version with a different background. Sometimes I just gotta switch from all that stamping to paper piecing and I think these cards would be great for someone to send to a child.
Thanks for looking!
Any chile will be very happy to receive this card. They will probably want to hang it up on their wall. These are two very fun, cheerful cards. Great Job.
ReplyDeleteI love these cards! Very cute! I really like the green and red one! Thanks for sharing! -Thia

ReplyDeleteThanks for playing in our Operation Write Home Midweek Throwdown challenge!
Erika, Great, colorful, cheerful cards! I am in the same online class ;) Isn't it fun? I am not a one to create the elaborate cards like they make on the videos, but I do pick up great hints.
ReplyDeleteErika,
ReplyDeleteThese cards are absolutely unfrogettable! They are so darn cute. Donna is right about a little one being thrilled about receiving this little frog in the mail!
Thanks for the tip about repeating a stamped image -- something I am going to have to try. And, thanks so much for joining us in the Midweek Throwdown challenge!
