OWH's sketch 142 is great! I put together this card in about an hour - wowza! The snowflake paper is from Bazzill's 6x6 "Believe" paper and the cut files are courtesy of Bird: Birthday wishes. I hand-cut the banners and used Antique Linen distress ink on them.
And here's our weekly sketch:
Have a great day!
Pretty, your colors are very soothing, TFS
ReplyDeleteErika, this card is super nice. I love that paper and I think I'm hoarding some somewhere. I'll have to look for it. The sponging of the edges really adds to your lighter shade strips. I love how you used two dies and the pine laves on your sentiment piece. All around great job.
ReplyDeleteThis is just beautiful, and I love the colorful snowflakes in the background!
ReplyDeleteLove the colorful background on your card.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! The pine boughs really draw my attention to the sentiment. Thanks for playing along with this week's Sunday Sketch!
ReplyDeleteVery nice card; sort of has a vintage look that I really like.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful. Love the solid banners on the pretty background paper. Just love the addition of those pine boughs on the sentiment.
ReplyDeleteOh fun... I love this and that patterned snowflake paper is so cute! Nicely done!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card,Erika! Wonderful focal point and the solid strips really set it off well. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOh, wow, that is beautiful! I LOVE the snowflake paper and it never occurred to me to use it as the background with sold papers. (This one initially really stumped me.) The distressing adds the perfect touch. As do the pine boughs.
ReplyDeleteI love this! The pine boughs are really pretty on your sentiment circle!
