A kids card with a Freshly Made Sketch

Today's Midweek Throwdown at OWH challenged us to make kid's cards - fun fun!  I used the following sketch from Freshly Made Sketches

I dug out my Aug Simon Says Stamp card kit (I couldn't find it in my craft room for a few days) and used the "Lovely Girl" stamp, along with papers from my stash:

It looks easy to do a clean & simple card, but this one took me a while!  I cut the white medallion on my Cricut from an SVG file and embossed the papers with the Swiss Dots folder.

Now I've got to get packed & ready for the CK Convention in Charlotte this weekend.  Can't wait to shop, shop, shop!

  1. That is so pretty! And I really like the sketch. Although I don't use a lot of embellishments, I always find a very CAS card takes the most trial and error because there's not as much to distract the eye. You did a GREAT job!!! Have fun shopping!

  3. I had a little chuckle about your comment regarding how long it takes to put together a CAS card! So true, so true! But I'm glad you put the time into this because it's so lovely. Perfect girly colors too! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!
