Today's OWH Sketch is #125 and was fun to put together. I made both a his version (from Graphic 45 paper) and a hers version (from Basic Grey 6x6 Hopscotch).
I know there's a need for more masculine cards - what about the soldiers who aren't married and just want to write a note home? I'm going to keep trying to make at least one male/female version of each card.
Our deadline for the Duty.Honor.Cards challenge is nearing and I want my box to be stuffed with cards! Better put off all those household chores to make cards! Ha ha!!
Hugs to all the OWH cardmakers!
You are SO RIGHT - no chores until the cards are finished. :) Lol, seriously, great cards! I lvoe your masculine one. :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adore the first! Car cards are awesome! TFS!!!

ReplyDeleteI like the front portion of the car showing in the boxes. You made the perfect his and her cards with this sketch.
Wow! Double duty! I love both versions and how you did the sentiment on the strip on the second one! Way to go, these are both great!
ReplyDeleteErika, these are really great. I really like the car stamp! You're masculine/feminine challenge to yourself is a great idea. It's hard for me to remember not to use so much pink, purple, flowers, and butterflies too. They just happen! ;) I'm going to try to balance them like you do, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYour cards are beautiful. I wish I had a lot more time to make cards, but I know OWH is glad to get what we can get the time to make.
ReplyDeleteI like the one with the cars so vintage :D
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to do both a masculine and feminine version! I have to remember that. These both came out great but being that red, white and blue is my all-time favorite color combo if you forced me to choose I'd pick the masculine one. :)
