Bugs & Kisses

Happy Sunday!  The latest challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut is - Spring Cleaning  - create a project with a Cricut cartridge I never used before.  There's only one cartridge in my stash that this applies to - Living Simply.  The images on this cartridge are quirky and I chose the lady bug for my card, using today's OWH sketch - #220
This card will also work for this month's ODBD challenge, which is Insects.  I added a bit of Wink of Stella to the hearts and the sentiment is from My Pink Stamper (out of business).
My second card uses the same OWH sketch but this is a masculine version.  Today's sketch certainly was a challenge for me without measurements, but I like it and plan to make more cards using it.
Sentiment is by Fiskars Holiday hoopla and papers are from my stash.
Well that's it for me today - hope you enjoy the rest of your day!

  1. Two winners here. I also had a bit of a problem without measurements, but we all did fine. Your first card is so fun and I love the beige and brown for the Dad cards. Great job on both. Wishing you a good week ahead.

  2. I haven't seen anything done recently with that cartridge-thanks for reminding us of it! Great ladybug, and that sentiment is perfect-great papers too! Thanks for joining us at FCCB this week!

  3. Both cards are lovely. The buttons really make the masculine card! Thanks for sharing as I always get good ideas from seeing what everyone makes! - Kristal

  4. Wow Ericka, great takes on the sketch! Love the fun look of the lady bug card, and the buttons and script paper for the dad card. Thanks for playing this week!

  5. Love the ladybug scene you created! So cute and colorful!

  6. The ladybug card is super cute! tfs!!!

  7. Both of your card turned out wonderfully.
    Love that ladybug cut.
    Thanks for sharing at FCCB.

  8. Great cards, I love the ladybug, really cute with the greenery to "munch" on! TFS!

  9. Great interpretations of this week's sketch. I want to use this sketch again as well. GJ!

  10. These are both such awesome cards!
