Hiya bloggers! Yesterday's OWH Bloghop was a blast and I'm still checking out the fabulous inspirations from everyone. Ya'll are sooo talented!
Today's OWH sketch is #193:
Here's my card, using the last scraps from the Basic Grey Nordic Holiday paper pad:
I made a second card to send to Julie Ebersole's mother, who is battling cancer. Ellen Hutson asked card makers to send her mother a card of encouragement, which you can read about here . I used today's sketch for this card:
The sentiment is a digistamp from Desert Diva and the anchor is a freebie from Patricia Zapata at A Little Hut although I can't seem to find the file on her website any longer :-( Everyone knows someone who is affected by breast cancer and I hope my card puts a smile on Alice's face. It felt good to use pink after all these holiday cards!
I'm also entering this card in the Cardz TV Breast Cancer Awareness challenge.
Tonight I'll choose the two winners of my blog candy and post it on my blog. Thanks for stopping by.
These are some beautiful cards you've shared with us today. I love the HOPE card and there is no better reason to make a card than sending a cancer patient an upfilting message. Thanks for the info and links.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are really nice. The second card is very sweet of you to send!
