Time to pack up and clean up....

I'm proud to say that I made 31 cards for OWH's Muscle Challenge.  Yippee!!  It was challenging to make so many masculine cards, but I used my Tim Holtz stamps, inks and inspiration to push me through.
Today's the day to clean up my disaster scrap table and send the cards off to the OWH shipper.  I could have made more cards, but I don't want to miss the deadline.
My cards today were for two co-workers in honor of Administrative Professional Day.  I wanted to make feminine cards and great papers from Authentique and We R Memory Keepers.  Here they are:

I used my Copic markers to color the digital images.  I'm still a beginner with Copics, but they sure are fun to have.
This week I'll be learning more in the A Cut Above classes and getting ready for a weekend crop.  I'm a planner - gotta have my paper, pictures and ideas ready to go.  That's because I can't crop and talk at the same time...gotta just work while I chat!
Sunday came too early for me,...wish I had another day off before work tomorrow.
Hope your weekend was fun too!

A Cut Above - Day 1

I'm enjoying the latest online card class at Online Card classes.  I'm already behind and am catching up with Day 1, which encouraged us to use die cuts and stamps.  I admit that I've got only one - yes one - die cut and stamp combo from Papertrey Ink.  It goes with their Celebration stamps.

And then.....after buying it, I have not used it until tonight!  Wow.  I wasn't too sure if I'd like using the combo wafer die with a stamp, but I really loved it.   The stamp fit the die perfectly.  I used a Father's Day stamp from Inkadinkdo for the sentiment and made two cards.

Both cards will be sent to OWH for the Muscle Challenge!   Now I'm off to catch up with Day 2 of the class.

OWH Sketch #117

I've been using free OWH digi-stamps to make cards and used one for this week's sketch challenge.  I colored the little lamb with Copic markers, but just around the edge.

The papers I used are from Basic Grey's Hopscotch paper pad.  I'm sooo impressed with the other ladies who have made cards based on this sketch - they are all so talented!

I've been making lots of Father's Day card for OWH's muscle challenge.  I've been using Distress Inks and techniques I learned from Tim Holtz to create masculine cards.  This card has been my favorite so far:

Anyway, I've got another week and weekend to make more cards for the Muscle Challenge.  I'm sure I'll be using the techniques I learn in the next online card class for cards as well.

I can't wait for the daily class info and cards from the many ladies in class with me.  I should be blogging more this week to try and keep up with everyone!

Happy Sunday!

Mojo Monday 236

I spent a lot of time this weekend making cards and relaxing....ahhhh!  (Like having a pedicure done?  maybe?)  Ha ha!  Here's my first Mojo Monday card, based on this sketch:

and my card, which I'm making for OWH:

The digi stamp is from Bird's Card blog, found here:  Bird's blog - free sentiments.  I've used her sentiments on several Father's Day cards for OWH.  The card paper is from scraps, which is always good to use up.   Thanks for looking!
