Father's Day Card + June Bootcamp

Well, it's Wednesday and here I am putting together a Father's Day card.  It will be a little late, but it's better than not sending one at all!

Papers: Simon Says Stamp June card kit
Sentiment: letters cut on cricut 3 times, stacked & stamped with Tsukineko Brilliance gold ink
Truck: Nifty Fifties Cricut cartridge

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
OWH June Bootcamp (I used the repetition of color; drawing colors from the pattern piece into the truck, sentiment, and "road")
Paper Playtime - Anything Goes

My second card for today is for the OWH mid-week throwdown - Things with Wings
:
Sentiment: My Pink Stamper
Owl cut: Lettering Delights

Yes, it's a pink owl, but in my imagination, there are pink owls!  Ha ha!

Hope you're having a lovely day.

Holiday Cards

Instead of doing housework, I'm creating cards!  I used stockings from the Very Merry Tags cartridge using my Gypsy (I'm still learning how to use it) and the Recollections Holiday Traditions paper pad.  This card was one mistake after another.... I wasn't going to put a greeting at the top, but I dribbled Glossy Accents and had to cover it up!

I'm entering this card in FCCB's Challenge #88 - Holiday Card
My second holiday card used a SVG from Lettering Delight's Holiday Lights set.  The snowman was sooo adorable.  I cut out all his layers and then embossed the white layer in my Big Shot.  The acetate background has snowflakes that I stamped with Staz-On white ink.  I learned this technique in the Holiday Boot Card Boot Camp.

I'm entering this card in the 2 Sisters Challenge Blog - Holiday Card

A Nordic Christmas Card

We're up to Day 9 of the Boot Camp!  I had a short time last night to work on a card and thought a sketch from Day 6 would help me put together a card quickly.  Here's the sketch:

Using Basic Grey's Nordic paper and images from Lettering Delight's Nordic Christmas set, here's my finished product:

The sentiment is again from PTI's Stylish Sentiments - Holiday.  There's so many great ideas from this class that I'll be making cards for a while!  (If I can squeeze that in between all of my band volunteer activities!)
